While it has been over a century and a half since Edgar Allan Poe graced us with a work of detective fiction or gothic horror, his legacy lives on. Within part two of the Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy, Poe historians will retell four of his most famous stories with a modern twist. The new lineup of eerie tales includes The Cask of Amontillado, Annabel Lee, The Pit and the Pendulum, and The Fall of the House of Usher.
The spooky speakeasy will open at Neidhammer Weddings & Events on East Washington Street. While not quite as old as Edgar Allan Poe, the beautifully restored venue dates back to 1901!
