In a chic, Downtown dining spot, an elegant table setup and clinking glasses set the scene for what appears to be a tranquil three-course dinner, until the storyline slips sideways and a cold-blooded murder unsettles the room. Masked actors drift between guests and all of a sudden, you’re immersed into a murder mystery dinner and show at The Guilty Banquet in Indianapolis. Caught between clashing alibies and a room full of masked suspects, this is the one dinner where the real concern isn’t about what’s on the menu, but who’s guilty.

What is The Guilty Banquet?
The Guilty Banquet is a whodunnit dinner and show that serves up a three-course menu with a deadly twist. Over the course of 90 minutes, you’ll savor delicious dishes and follow the actors’ every move as they engage with fellow guests. Each interaction influences the storyline so you’ll never see the same show twice. Much like a gripping Agatha Christie novel, the event taps into your inner detective where you have to figure out who has something troubling to hide.
How does a murder mystery and dinner experience work?
At The Guilty Banquet, instead of just watching a murder mystery, you’re actively participating with actors and simultaneously, writing the storyline. Whether you show up on your own or with friends, you’ll discuss clues and motives, and compare notes with other intrigued diners as one delicious dish after another reaches your table.
From a creamy Roasted Oyster Mushroom Soup and Beef Barbacoa to a delicate Alaskan Cod, there is a mouth-watering plate for every taste, available for purchase at the venue. Post booking, you can share your requirements, should you have any dietary restrictions. But suspicion is the special spice that changes the whole meal and it all comes down to the final reveal. Still, guilt has a way of lingering long after the last dish so you better be right about who did it.

Sure, you’ve heard of murder on the dance floor but a murder at a banquet isn’t something you see every day. On selected dates, the elegant Skyline Club located on the 36th floor of the One America Tower will play host to Indianapolis’ most suspenseful “deadly dinner parties”. But don’t be distracted by the restaurant’s stunning views, there is still a pending mystery to solve.
Guests can choose between an early dinner at 6:00pm or the usual 8:30pm. If you want to have the full experience, come dressed in your favorite masquerade look, complete with the mysterious Venetian mask.
